AviontéAERO: Adobe Overview

The Avionté integration with Adobe Sign enables users to handle all onboarding paperwork.  As both an Avionté and Adobe client you can benefit from the following:

  • Seamless integration with document management, making it easy to send and receive documents from employees without leaving Avionté.
  • Emailed notifications to talent for when documents are available for them to complete.
  • In-app tracking for users to monitor the completion of documents.
  • Auto-fill information, directly from Avionté into your documents, or pull important information from the documents, directly into Avionté!

Acceptable File Types

  • Recent list of supported file types, from Adobe (List last updated on 09/16/2021)
  •  PDF: Adobe Fill & Sign supports most PDFs. However, the following two types of PDFs are not supported at this point:
    • Secured PDFs - When uploading a secure PDF, you will see an error message that conveys that the PDF contains editing restrictions and is not supported.
    • Some LiveCycle Designer forms - For dynamic XFA PDFs created by LiveCycle, you will see an error message that conveys that Dynamic XFA is not supported.
  • Microsoft Office files: DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSx, PPT, PPTX
  • Image files: JPG, PNG, GIF, TIF
  • Text files: TXT, RTF, ODT

 

Mapping Overview

To connect a field in an e-signature document with Avionté, follow the instructions below.

  1. Right-click on a field in the document within Adobe.

  2. Click the pencil icon next to the field title (Example: "Custom Field 1")

  3. Change the name of the field to the appropriate mapping phrase (mappings can be found in below article).

    Note: The field name needs to appear exactly as it does in the Mapping Key, including the case and spaces, so the best practice is to copy/paste from the key provided below

  4. Click OK. Repeat steps 1-3 for all necessary fields in the document.
