Troubleshooting
No Applications Available in the Microsoft Remote Desktop Application Window
If the Microsoft Remote Desktop application is not able to communicate with the Avionté servers, the list of available remote applications in the Microsoft Remote Desktop window may be empty.
No Network Connection
If the Microsoft Remote Desktop application is launched with no network connection, the Avionté remote applications won't be able to load. This results in an empty list.
- Ensure that the network connection is active and VPN is connected.
- Launch the Microsoft Remote Desktop application again according to the .rpd file.
Incorrect Username and Password
If the application doesn't recognize the username or password used, the Microsoft Remote Desktop application won't be able to connect to the Avionté servers. This results in an empty list.
This will also occur if your Avionté password has been changed.
-
Click Workspaces.
-
Verify that the username is correct.
- Enter the current password in the Password field.
- Click Continue.
Keep Microsoft Remote Desktop in the Dock
Keeping a frequently used application in the dock makes it faster and easier to launch.
-
While the Microsoft Remote Desktop application is open, right-click on the icon in the dock.
-
Mouse over Options.
- Click Keep in Dock.

Any RDP client that supports Microsoft RDP Protocol version 7.0 can be used to connect to the Core Application. The process of configuring other RDP clients will be similar to those described above for the Microsoft client above.
The table below lists the common information needed to configure an RDP client. In all cases, “companycode” should be replaced with your Company Code.

The table below lists each parallel environment and the URL that should be used to connect to it.
