Recommended System Requirements

This document provides the recommended system requirements for both workstations and servers, necessary to prevent any degradation of performance when running Avionté, for both self-hosted and Avionté-hosted clients.

If you will be hosted by Avionté please verify that you meet the workstation and connection requirements for each user to experience proper performance. Self-hosted clients should note that these requirements are not final, and may vary depending on other non-Avionté installations and configurations, and the size of your user base.



  • MS Silverlight (required)
  • TSPrint Client (Avionté-Hosted Only)
  • Remote Desktop Connection client running RDP 7.1 and above. (required, Avionté-Hosted Only)
    Note: For full functionality, Windows operating system 10 or newer is recommended.
  • We recommend the latest versions of
    • Chrome
    • Firefox
We support the current and previous major releases of Firefox and Chrome on a rolling basis. Each time a new version is released, Avionté begins supporting the recently released version and the previous version. In other words, Avionte supports "Current" and "Current -1." Other browsers such as Safari, Edge and Opera may work, though they are not officially supported or recommended and may not provide full functionality.
Note: Google Chrome automatically updates on launch.

Network (Internet)

Internet Connection with a minimum of 100 Kbps dedicated to Avionté traffic per user. (Avionté-Hosted Only)


A Topaz signature pad with serial connection is required for remote system connection. The device can be used by hosted and self-hosted clients, however, the serial connection is required for Avionté-hosted clients. 

Note: The Topaz signature pad is only compatible with Internet Explorer.

Touchscreen for use with the Time Clock Portal. (optional)
