Standard Canadian Report - T4_CA

Logic

When data is generated, all taxable wages are pulled into EmploymentIncome.

If you have non-taxable wages that need to be reported in T4, then you would need to set up on Transaction type setup in Admin tools.  You can do this in Admin Tools > Transaction Types.

  • UnionDues will pull any Pay wages where the Transaction type has W2Box = 44
  • For others, the client will need to add Value in W2 Box. For example: if you want Reimbursements to appear on T4 as Box 10, then you will need to add W2Box = 10 in transaction type setup.
  • Box info will pull any one time pay, permanent deductions and Benefits as long as they have value in W2Box.
