This topic provides an overview of a typical termination process at a staffing company. Your site's process may differ slightly. Before you can complete the steps in this process, all setup must be complete.

Employee terminated

An employee termination may be either:

• Involuntary
• Voluntary

Log message

• Log message to document termination.

End active assignments

• Input performance code and end reason in the assignment update section.

Change status

If involuntary termination:

• DNA for a particular cause.
• Terminated for a layoff.

Prerequisites for the termination process

• Active employee on an Active Assignment who has been terminated.
