Enter Tips in Time Entry

The amount of income earned as tips is entered during the Time Entry process.  For more information about the Time Entry process, see Time Entry Process Overview.

Because this employee's assignment has been configured to include tips as a source of income in the previous article, when performing Time Entry for this employee, two new rows will be available: Tips(Paid) and Tips(Cash).

For each tip type, enter the total amount earned in the Pay Rate field.

The Pay Unit column should remain “1”.
