Time Entry Process Overview

This topic provides an overview of a typical time entry process at a staffing company. Your site's process may differ slightly. Before you can complete the steps in this process, all setup must be complete. 

Time Entry

There are multiple ways to add recorded time into a Time Entry batch.

• Select an Accounting Period and create a transaction by clicking Create Transaction.
• Create a Batch.
• Manually enter time.
• Import time cards and feeds from other sources.
  • To import time cards from Connect, enable the setting in this article.
• Import web time.
• Import or enter refunds, reimbursements, transactional deductions, and credits.

Review and close batches

• Review errors, then fix or approve in Time Entry Batch.
• Make modifications and updates (Card View or Sheet View) verify and close batches.

Run reports and verify information

• Run a report and check the information.
  • Missing Timecards
  • Missing Time report
  • Updated Timesheet
