Overview

Google Analytics is a freemium web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google launched the service in November 2005 after acquiring Urchin. Google Analytics is now the most widely used web analytics service on the internet.
To set up a Google Analytics account, go to Google Analytics.

To use Google Analytics with Avionté, you must have a Tracking ID provided by Google analytics. For more information on locating the Tracking ID, see the Google provided Analytics Help article, Find your tracking code, tracking ID and property number.

Add Google Analytics Tracking Number to Portals
- Log into your Admin Portal using your login credentials.
- Click Portal Property from the menu on the left side of the screen.
- Select Admin from the Portals drop-down menu.
- Type "Google" into the Search field.
- Click Search.
- Locate one of the following properties from the Property list:

Property Description Web_JobBoard_Google_Analytics_Account Sets the Google Analytics account for the Job Board. Web_Vendor_Google_Analytics_Account Sets the Google Analytics account for the Vendor Portal. Web_Applicant_Google_Analytics_Account Sets the Google Analytics account for the Applicant Portal. Web_Employee_Google_Analytics_Account Sets the Google Analytics account for the Employee Portal. Web_Google_Analytics_Account Sets the Google Analytics account in general. - Input the Tracking ID in the text box for each supplier in the format 'UA-TrackingID-1' (e.g. UA-12345678-1).
- After updating the Portal Property, click Update at the bottom of the page to save.
- Repeat Steps 4-6 to update additional Portal Properties as needed.
Update the Google Analytics Script
If the tracking code needs to be updated, the Web_Google_Analytics_Script must be updated. For more information on this property, see the Admin Portal Property Settings - Web_Google_Analytics_Script help article.
- Log into your Admin Portal using your login credentials.
- Click Portal Property from the menu on the left side of the screen.
- Select Admin from the Portals drop-down menu.
- Type "Google" into the Search field.
- Click Search.
- Click the Web_Google_Analytics_Script from the Property list.
- Enter the JavaScript into the text box for each supplier.
- After updating the JavaScript, click Update at the bottom of the page to save.
