Admin Tools: Wizard

The Assignment wizard appears when the Action menu option Assign New is selected in the Order section or Employee section. By default, there are three screens within the Assignment wizard: Add Assignment, Deduction Tracking, and Assignment Schedule. Each of these wizard screens have configuration properties in Admin Tools.

Where the settings are reflected... Assignment Wizard when Assign New is selected in the Order section or Employee section.
 
 
 

To modify the wizard:

  1. Select a screen that is included in the wizard.
  2. In the Shared By group box in the lower-right, you can share or unshare (display or hide) the screen by clicking the corresponding checkbox for each.
  3. To alter the order in which the screen appears in the wizard, click in the Entry Order column for a branch, change value as desired (1 means it will display first, 2 will be second screen, and so on). Remember to tab out of the field as you make modifications.
  4. Click Save once you have finished.
  5. Repeat these steps for any other screens to modify.
  6. To see the changes in the actual wizard, you must refresh settings. Click the Preferences button (red ball) in the upper-left corner of the application window, choose View, then select Refresh Settings.
 
 

Email Profile Wizard

The Email Profile wizard appears when the Action menu option Email Profile is selected when on the Start Page. There are two screens available within the Email Profile wizard: Email Profile and Share Profile. Each of these wizard screens have configuration properties in Admin Tools. You can choose to display both screens, or one or the other.

Default values: Email Profile Add is visible by default, Share Email Profile tab is hidden by default.

The Repeat Assignment wizard appears when the Repeat Assignment button is selected for an assignment displayed on the Assignments tab on the Scheduler (Order sections). Each of these wizard screens have configuration properties in Admin Tools.

Employee Wizard

The Employee Wizard appears on the Employee section under the new New Employee button, Wizard Option. There are fourteen screens on the New Employee Wizard:
  1. Add Employee
  2. Skill
  3. Past Job
  4. Certification
  5. Education
  6. Test
  7. Employment Category/Date
  8. Interview
  9. Requirement
  10. Extra
  11. Tax
  12. EEO
  13. User Type
  14. Criminal History
Each of these wizard screens have configuration properties in Admin Tools.
