How to activate the new 2024 Federal W4 Form:

The article outlines the process to activate the new 2024 Federal W4 Form using the Admin Portal. Here are the steps provided:

  1. Log in to the Admin Portal.
  2. Navigate to the Edocument section from the homepage.
  3. In the Edocument section, find and select the eDoc titled ‘W4 Form’ to open the setup page.
  4. Ensure that the Edocument Name is 'W4 Form' and the System Name is 'W4Federalv02'. Select the relevant branches to activate the eDoc and update the changes.
  5. Deactivate the old version of the Federal W4 form by locating the eDocument titled ‘W4 Form_OLD01012023’ and selecting 'View'.
  6. Confirm that the Edocument Name is 'W4 Form_OLD01012023' and the System Name is 'W4Federal'. Remove the branch permissions by clicking the button and update the changes.

 

  • Log in to the Admin Portal.

  • From the homepage, navigate to the Edocument.

  • When you open the Edocument section, you will be able to see a list of edocuments there. Locate the eDoc titled ‘W4 Form’ and select ‘View’ to open the setup page.

  • Confirm that the Edocument Name = W4 Form and the System Name = W4Federalv02. Select all the necessary branches to activate the eDoc in those branches and update the changes.

  • Deactivate the old version of Federal W4 form. Locate the edocument with the title ‘W4 Form_OLD01012023’ and select View.

 

  • Confirm that the Edocument Name = W4 Form_OLD01012023 and System Name = W4Federal. Click on the Deselect All button to remove the branch permissions and update the changes.
