The Customer Schedule Calendar display shows all of the upcoming tasks and appointments linked to the current customer.
Access the Schedule Calendar
- Start Page: Click the Actions menu, then choose Schedule Calendar. The Schedule Calendar will appear in a new window.
- Customer section: With a customer selected in the Customer section, choose the submenu item Schedule Calendar. The Schedule Calendar tab is displayed.
- Employee section: With an employee selected in the Employee section, choose the submenu item Schedule Calendar. The Schedule Calendar tab is displayed.
Schedule Calendar Features
Several features of the schedule calendar affect how the calendar and calendar information are displayed. In addition to the following features, the settings you choose in the Options menu (explained later) also impact the information presented in the calendar.
Time Range
Field | Description |
Day/Week/Month | Click these buttons to change the view of the calendar. |
Work Week vs. Full Week | When Week view is displayed, you can choose either the work week option to view Monday through Friday. If you choose the full week option, you will see all seven days of the week. |
Color Coding
Color | Description |
Green | The order is filled. All openings have been filled. |
Orange | The order is partially filled. Some assignments have been made, but there are still unfilled openings. |
Red | The order is open and no assignments have been made. |
Note: Colors are default settings, but can be customized.

Options Menu
Several options are provided in this menu to determine how the data is presented in the Schedule Calendar. Each of the options are described below.
View Options
Click the View Option header bar to display viewing options.
Field | Description |
Group By | Select the entity in which to group the order/assignments. For example, if you choose Branch, the assignments for each branch are grouped together. Each group is distinguished by a different colored background. |
Break Schedule by Each Day | This option determines whether an order/assignment is displayed by flowing over multiple days, or if each day repeats the information for the order/assignment. |
Include Employee Schedule | (not available for Branch) - Displays/hides any employees that have included their availability schedule in the calendar. |
Include Employee Assignment | Displays/hides the employees that are assigned to an order. |
Include Order | Displays/hides the order schedule. |
Branch
Click the Branch header bar to display a list of branches you are allowed to view. You can check or uncheck branches that subsequently filters the data for those branches in the Schedule Calendar.
Customer
Click the Customer header bar to display a list of all customers that have openings defined in the schedule. You can check or uncheck customers which subsequently filters the data for those customers in the Schedule Calendar.
Order
Click the Order header bar to display a list of all orders scheduled. You can check or uncheck orders which subsequently filters the data for those orders in the Schedule Calendar.

Add an Assignment to an Order
- Right-click the order and choose Assign. An assignment wizard appears.
- Follow the steps on the New Assignment Wizard help page to continue. Note that the you are already viewing the assignment wizard, so you can skip the first few steps in that topic to continue.
View Order Information
View Associated Customer
Right-click the schedule item and choose See Customer. The Avionté main window reappears with the Customer section loaded into the work area (the Schedule Calendar still remains open and is hidden behind the main window). The customer's Summary tab is displayed.
View Assigned Employee Information
Right-click the schedule item and choose See Employee. The Avionté main window reappears with the Employee section loaded into the work area (the Schedule Calendar still remains open and is hidden behind the main window). The employee's Summary tab is displayed.
View the Assignment
Right-click the schedule item and choose See Assignment. An assignment wizard appears.
View Order
Right-click the schedule item and choose See Order. The Avionté main window reappears with the Order section loaded into the work area (the Schedule Calendar still remains open and is hidden behind the main window). The order's Summary tab is displayed.
