Overview
Updated 06/24/2021
Data Frenzy is an option available from within Avionte that allows users to search resumes on the internet or local hard disk.
Note: When you are finished using Data Frenzy, you must log out using the link in the upper-right corner before closing the window.
Use Data Frenzy
- From the Start Page, choose DataFrenzy from the Actions menu. The Data Frenzy window opens. The Resume Search feature provides a set of steps you follow onscreen to arrive at your results.
- In the Boolean Keywords field, enter the job title. Only one job title can be entered at a time and must have a minimum of two characters.
- Enter City, Start or Zip Code and select a radius from the drop-down below it.
- Save the search so it can be run in the future.
- Users have to make sure Requisition Number field is not blank before searching for the resumes.
- Users have an option to select where they want the resumes to be searched in. Currently, there are five options to choose from.
- Click Search. The following message appears as the search is performed. When the search is complete, the results are displayed.
- When users click on any one employee, the resume of that employee is displayed.
- To add the resume into Avionte, click Upload to ATS . When resumes are uploaded into Avionte, they are added to the Resume Parser section and also the count shows up in the Data Frenzy Resume Counter upon updating Counters.
- Click the Data Frenzy Resume counter to navigate to the Resume Parser > Search section.
- The Source column identifies where the resumes originated. Resumes parsed from Avionté core application display ResumeRecordType as the source, while resumes added from Data Frenzy will have the sourceDataFrenzyRecordType or Internet.
- For further information, see the help topic: Resume Parser.
Use Data Frenzy in AutoMatch
When Data Frenzy is configured for use, it can be used in conjunction with the AutoMatch feature in the Order section.
- Select an order in the Order section.
- Choose AutoMatch. The AutoMatch window appears.
- Check Include Data Frenzy. Notice that a city name appears below the checkbox when checked. This indicates the current worksite address associated with the order. The city and state indicated here are automatically passed to Data Frenzy for the location to search.
- Click Run Auto Match. The Advanced Search window appears and includes the Data Frenzy tab.
- Click the Data Frenzy tab. Keywords are auto-populated from the order, as are the City and State fields.
Note: The boolean keywords do not appear by default. Click in the field to display the keywords. If you do not click, the search still uses the keywords associated with the order.
- Perform your search in Data Frenzy as described earlier in this help topic. Resumes added from this section are added in External Candidates tab of Order > Candidate section.
- Log out of Data Frenzy when you are finished performing the search (link in upper-right corner).
Configure Data Frenzy
Several properties must be set for the employer and each user of Data Frenzy in Admin Tools > Config Option. Following are the list of Config Option properties for this feature.
Web service
If you are a self-hosted Avionté customer, you must have the Integration web service installed and configured.
There is additional configuration of the integration web service that will be required to ensure your data frenzy files will be stored in the correct location.
- Once the web service is installed, log into your web server and create a folder on the C:\ drive named C:\DFZ.
- Next, navigate to the web service folder on your web server. Open the web.cfg file within that folder in notepad and change the value within the key <add key="FolderPath" value="C:\DFZ\".
- Finally, ensure that you are able to connect to the IntegrationService.asmx file of the web service from within a web browser in your terminal server.
- Browse the IntegrationService.asmx file.
- Click on the DFSetRAMData link on the top of the page.
- Copy the URL of the displayed page. It should read "http://{servername}/Integration/IntegrationService.asmx?op=DFSetRAMData".
Note: If you don’t know your server name, it can be found on the Start Menu>Computer>Properties>Full Computer Name.
- Browse the IntegrationService.asmx file.
