Agency - Search

Overview

Updated 07/07/2021

In the Avionté application, "agency" refers to an entity that assists your staffing company.

Examples of agencies include:

Vendor Authority

A company that supplies or sells goods, equipment or services to a staffing agency. A janitorial supply company sells cleaning equipment to a janitorial staffing agency.

Staffing Supplier

Another staffing agency hired to support your staffing agency. Typically, this relationship helps the fulfillment of an order that is larger or more complex than usual

Deduction Authority

Organizations such as child support agencies or health insurance agencies to which deductions are submitted.

Tax Authority

A government-licensed authority hired to manage the submission of tax payments.

The Agency > Search section allows users to search and select agencies that match specific search criteria and filters.

Show Only

The Only Show section limits returned search results to show contacts that have a specific status, belong to a specific branch, or are limited to the specific user's contacts. Once a selection has been made, the search returns results that only match the selected option.

Options can be combined to search for contacts with a particular type of shared criteria. For instance, checking multiple boxes can produce search results only for contacts with a particular status or branch.

Field Description
By Status Isolate results to a specific status.
By Type Isolate results by the type of agency.
Branch Isolate results by the branch location.

Standard Search

The options under Standard Search provide descriptions for advanced searches. Advanced Searches must still be set, otherwise the grid will appear blank. For more information on setting Advanced Searches, see the Actions Menu - Advanced Search article.

Double-click on the search in the Description section to run and launch a separate window with the search results.

Action

The Action section provides options to print or export the search results. Once the search results have been generated, the results can be sent to a printer as an image or exported into a Microsoft Excel file.

Troubleshooting

If search results are not generating as expected, check the configuration behind the Search Option tab on the right-hand side of the page. Search Options override standard search parameters.
