Install the Add-In for Outlook Connector 20.7

Follow these instructions to install the Avionté Outlook Add Ins for Outlook Connector 20.7. Note: If you already have an older version of the Avionté Outlook Add-In running, you must first uninstall it.

Setup

  1. First save any unfinished work and close / shut down Outlook. 
  2. If you have an older Outlook Add-In running, you need to uninstall before proceeding.
  3. Once the download is complete, run the file.
  4. Some Windows computers will ask you for permission. It is safe to proceed.
    Note: You may need to select 'More info' before you see the 'Run anyway' button.

  5. Then select 'Run anyway.'

  6. Now Follow the prompts through to completion.

  7. Once you finish the installation process, open Outlook. 
  8. When Outlook opens, you'll find the 'Avionté' tab list next to 'Help'

  9. Now you need to authenticate your Avionté account. Click on the 'Avionté' tab > 'Login' and the associated login window will appear. Enter your the credentials associated with your Avionté account. 
    1. You'll need your Avionté email, Avionté password and Company Code.
    2. The Company Code is the 3 letter code which you enter in the Company Code field. (e.g. xyz.aviontego.com --> Code would be "xyz")
  10. Select 'Login.

  11. Enter credentials and 'Connect.'
    1. * It may take a few moments to authenticate.

  12. After you've completed the authentication process you can access the following options in the toolbar:

    Note:
    the Outlook Add Ins are compatible with 32-bit and 64-bit. The Outlook Add Ins are not compatible with Mac computers.

  13. Be sure to select the right installer for your use and hardware. We offer a 32-bit version for older hardware and a 64-bit version for current hardware.
    1. If you would like all users to be able to use the Outlook Connector, then use the All Users version of the installer for your hardware.
    2. 'All User' and 'Single User' 64 bit/ 32 bit connectors attached below for download:

 

The Outlook Add Ins are compatible with 32-bit and 64-bit. The Outlook Add Ins are not compatible with Mac computers.

 

 

Update your credentials

This will show you how to change your password for the Outlook Connector Addin.

  1. Open Outlook
  2. Click Add-ins Tab
  3. Click View Profile

  4. Update your credentials: Email, Password or Build.
  5. Click Go!
