Standard AQ - California Pay Data

The Standard AQ - California Pay Data Report supports compliance with California's pay data reporting requirements under SB 1162, which requires private employers of at least 100 employees to file a Payroll Employee Report for the prior calendar year. This report was created based on specifications provided by California's Civil Rights Department.

The report exports as an Excel Workbook. When saving, ensure Save As Type = Workbook (*.xlsx).

Start Date	MM/DD/YYYY	Pulls employees with payroll/checks within the snapshot period/date range working under CA worksites, or employees whose default branch address is in CA.
End Date	MM/DD/YYYY
Transaction Type	All Available Taxable Transaction Types	Filters the transaction type for transactions that fall within the date range.
Ignore "Missing Info" Errors?	Yes or No	Yes — Missing race/sex/ethnicity data is ignored; UU codes display as required by CA. No — Displays errors and missing mapping data in the report.
Employee Detail	Yes or No	Yes — Displays the report per employee with detail information. No — Displays the report per Branch, Job Category, Race/Ethnicity/Sex, and Pay Band.

Total Hours	Total hours worked by the employee for the year of the Start Date parameter.
Exemption Status	Indicates whether the employee is exempt or non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).	Exempt, Non-Exempt
Work Schedule Type	Indicates the employee's employment classification for the reporting period.	Full-Time, Part-Time, Intermittent
